Canvas is the learning management system (LMS) in use at UNT. It may be used for course activities and communication in online, blended or traditional face-to-face courses.

Canvas Use Restrictions
Canvas is funded by educational fees and allowed to be used for educating registered students and the administration of UNT courses from which those educational fees are generated. We are bound to the license agreement restrictions for its intended use. The university has some alternatives to using Canvas for departmental needs:
CampusCE is an institution branded storefront for continuing education courses that allow non-UNT users to register and pay for courses offered by the university.
Bridge is the learning and performance management platform used for campus related compliance courses, departmental training, professional development, and other employee training. All faculty and staff (including student employee) trainings are facilitated within the Bridge LMS.
Microsoft Teams is the hub for team collaboration in Microsoft 365 that integrates people, content, and tools for engaging and effective communication. It has the capability of being either publicly or privately available to a group of users and offers document sharing, ongoing chat discussions, video streaming, meeting hosting, and more.
UNT websites are available to all departments for providing informational resources to their current and future students. Log in to Service Now and select "Web Services" from the Popular Topics tab.
